What is e-Freight?
e-Freight is the ultimate goal of achieving a paperless air cargo. In addition of the e-AWB, it consists of replacing all other paper documents across the supply chain such as:
eDG
Electronic Dangerous Dood (eDG) declaration is the digital standard for managing dangerous good through the supply chain without paper. IAG Cargo has adopted the system DG Autocheck to allow ground handlers and freight forwarders the ability to validate their declarations.
eCSD
Electronic Consignment Security Declaration (eCSD) is the digital equivalent of the traditional paper based screening and security information required for consignments.
eHM
Electronic House Manifest (eHM) is to allow consolidated shipments to list all the House Airway Bills (HAWB) for each shipment. This replaces the paper version.
Before using the above digital versions of those documents you must already be using a e-AWB.
