In September 2016 IAG Cargo announced that it is set to build a new premium freight facility at LHR. The new building will be twice the size of IAG Cargo’s existing Premia facility and has been designed around the modern demands of premium airfreight. The facility is designed to support the future demands of international premium trade. Set to become operational in 2018, the building will operate alongside IAG Cargo’s existing Premia facility.
IAG Cargo’s Madrid terminal handles over 200, 000 tonnes of cargo per year and connects to over 19 destinations in LATAM.
Our MAD hub is connected to our LHR hub with a three times daily wide body service.
There is 2,500 square meters dedicated to perishable handling.
